Part 1: Operation Evolution
Ch 1 By : Kerrie
The mansion had been relatively quiet since Liberty Island. A year later Rogue, Bobby, Dark Rose, Spaz, Polaris, and Kitty were training the with X-Men twice a week and were getting ready to join the team. Spaz came running down the stairs as a big blue hairy man entered the house. ‘Uncle Hank!’ Spaz said jumping into his arms. ‘Hey Spaz, how’s life at the mansion?’ ‘Great, I should have come here years ago instead of just summers.’ ‘Have you see Charles?’ ‘He’s visiting Magneto in jail. Let me guess your here on business?’ ‘As always... the London area school has been shut down. Many of the students have been moved to Paris and to Germany. I found 4 guys who I want to come train with you.’ ‘Do tell.’ Spaz said happily. ‘All four of them are from Ireland and have been at the school since their powers became present. Nicky has super speed, Kian can start fires, Shane has telekinesis, and Mark is a shapeshifter.’ ‘How old are they?’ ‘Late teens and early 20s like you.’ ‘This is great, when are they coming?’ ‘That’s what I came to talk to Charles about.’ ‘He should be back soon.’ ‘How has training been?’ ‘Great, I love it. I’m due in the danger room in a few minutes.’ ‘I’d love to see this.’ ‘Come on.’ Hank followed his godchild down the stairs and went into the viewing room. Spaz’s grandfather, Paul, had been exposed to radiation as a teenager and it forced some mutations such as strength and minor psychic abilities. Spaz’s father, Rich, was born with the same abilities as well as a healing ability. He was married and had a son with no mutations. When he married a mutant their first child, Spaz, was born with a combination of their abilities. Their next two children didn’t have any mutations but their fourth child had minor abilities but died due to illness. Rich met Charles through his father after his first child was born. Charles was building a school and Rich helped set things up. During her pregnancy Celeste felt things were going wrong so Charles had them move into the mansion so his friend Dr. Hank McCoy could monitor her. After 9 months a healthy baby girl, Kerrie, was born. Rich and Hank had become good friends so he was named Kerrie’s godfather and Celeste's sister, Shelly, was her godmother. By the time Kerrie was two they moved to Salem, MA where Celeste was from. Kerrie became a big sister a year and a half later. Hank did some blood tests and it showed that their son was not a mutant. 3 years later they had a daughter and tests proved the same. 5 years later, Tommy, was born but he was sick from the start. When he died Celeste wasn’t the same. Rich wanted his daughter to go to the Xavier school but she opted to stay with her mother and visit the school during the summer. Celeste helped train her daughter to control her abilities. Spaz became her nickname when she could teleport extremely fast. She also had great strength and strong psychic abilities. When Spaz turned 16 she moved into the mansion and began training. She became quick friends with Kitty who could walk through solid objects and Bobby “The Iceman” who could freeze things as well as himself.

Ch 2 By: Kerrie
When Spaz was 18 Storm and Cyclops brought back the legendary Wolverine and a girl named, Rouge, who has poisonous skin. Since she was a young child Spaz heard stories about Wolverine, the man who wandered the country as an assassin using his claws to kill people. While he was in the med-lab Spaz snuck in to see him. ‘He doesn’t look too fierce, he’s actually hot.’ Spaz told Kitty after her visit. Later that day Jean and Hank began studying him and Spaz got to know Rogue. Rogue was from Mississippi and left her hometown a year before when she kissed her boyfriend and put him in a coma for 2 weeks. Rogue met Wolverine in Canada and managed to catch a ride with him after she saw him fight with a man in a bar. They were attacked by Sabertooth who had been hunting her for weeks. Cyclops and Storm got there just in time. Bobby instantly fell in love with Rogue and her Southern charm. A few days later Rogue went into Wolverine’s room when she heard him scream from a nightmare and he accidentally put his claws through her. She had to touch him to save her life and put him out for a few hours. The next afternoon Rogue fled the mansion and was picked up by Sabertooth and Magneto. She was used to power a machine that was suppose to change humans into mutants. Luckily the X-Men stopped it and Wolverine touched Rouge's cheek to save her. After he was healed Logan took off for Canada to try to remember his past. He came back to the mansion a year later. When he came back he took notice of Spaz who was the third strongest mutant in the house after Dr. X and Jean. Their first visit in the danger room Logan was supervising Polaris and Spaz. Polaris was reluctant to use her powers and Spaz had to save her numerous times. After the third time Spaz teleported her behind a rock and fought a battle on her own. Logan was impressed and defended her when Storm chastised her for not working with Polaris. ‘Storm, she wouldn’t use her powers.’ Logan said as Polaris looked at the ground. Polaris had been at the school since she was a child. Magneto was her father he and all but abandoned her when she refused to join his side. Since that day she refused to use her powers for more then simple activities. ‘Polaris, what happened?’ ‘I can’t do this, Storm. Someday I’m going to have to face my father and I know he’ll kill me.’ ‘That’s why you need to fight. Polaris, I remember your father. Deep down inside he is a good man and if you stand up to him he might see that.’ Spaz said pulling her hair into a ponytail. ‘What if-’ ‘Stop thinking about what if. Just worry about today. You are a bright young women and strong mutant. I know you want to use your powers to help others.’ Storm said. ‘Ok, we’re done.’ Spaz left the room with Logan following her. ‘That was something.’ ‘Thanks, my mom has been drilling me since I was 10.’ ‘Are they both mutants?’ ‘Yea, I’m the only child that is. My brother and sister aren’t.’ ‘How long have you been here?’ ‘For two full years, before that I spent summer’s here.’ From that day on Logan took a special interest in Spaz. He watched out for Rogue and Spaz in the same way. When Rogue and Bobby started dating Logan was always drilling Bobby. All the other girls in the mansion were jealous, Wolverine was the heartthrob of the school even though he didn’t know it.

Ch 3 By: Raquel
Now it’s time to get a bit away from Xavier’s mansion. On the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, there used to be another mansion too. More specifically in London, England. There’s where you can find Shane Filan. Shane is an Irish mutant with the power of telekinesis. Since he was a baby, Shane’s parents knew he was one of a kind. He could attract toys with his hand, with an enormous facility. Scared with the child’s power, his parents ended up taking him to a school in London, which according to what they heard, could help people with strange powers. There, they heard more about their child’s abilities, and discovered that he was what “normal” people called “a mutant”. But they didn’t reject or leave him. They went to visit Shane in the mansion several times a year, and he used to spend holiday’s at home, with his family. All that love received from his parents, even with his “abnormality” made Shane a very kind person. Always with a smile in his face, he tries always to see the good side of things, and it’s very difficult to see him upset. Of course, it doesn’t mean he’s weak. As he as thought to control his power since he was a little kid, Shane learned not only to control, but also to develop them. At this time, he’s a bit far of being considered a strong telepath, but he’s working on that. ‘So, we were accepted into the Xavier’s school?’ He asked, with a smile on his face. ‘Yes, we were!’ His friend Nicky answered, as happy as him. ‘I’m very excited with that, I must confess!’ Shane said ‘I mean, I’ve always hear about people like Jean Grey and Professor X, who have powers like mine… I think I’ll learn a lot there!’ ‘I think so!’ Nicky agreed. ‘When do we leave?’ He asked. ‘As soon as possible, I think!’ The other replied. Shane smiled, happily. There was the chance he’d been waiting for a long time! And he wouldn’t waste it for nothing!

Ch 4 By: Raquel
Mark Feehily is one of the London students who was accepted into Xavier’s school. But he’s a bit different then his friends… Mark is more quiet and shy, although very sweet. With light skin, dark hair and blue eyes, he can make hearts melt. But he’s very afraid of letting people know his secret. Mark was a normal person. At least, it was what he thought. He grew up in Ireland, and although his shyness could upset him sometimes, he went to school, and had a normal routine, just like every other guys his age. But one day, while was at school, Mark received the notice that his father was in the hospital. He went there, and when he arrived, he knew he was dead. He just had a heart attack, and didn’t make it. Mark felt like a train had crashed on him. He loved his father very much, and so did his mother. He tried to help her to get over it, but she just got worse and worse. One day, Mark was alone in his bedroom, when he started to remember his father. He thought so much about him, and cried for so long, that he fell sleep. When he woke up, he went to the bathroom, to wash his face, and when he looked in the mirror… He saw his father there, staring at him. Scared, he fell on the ground, shaking. But, when he looked at his hands, he noticed they were very different… Older. He got up, slowly, and looking in the mirror again, he finally understood it was himself, who had assumed the appearance of his father. Mark was very, very confused, and stood there for some minutes – which for him seemed hours –, trying to understand what was happening to him. Thinking about what his mother would do, if saw “his father” walking in the house, he was afraid of going out, and scare her. Suddenly, he saw his hand now had long nails. Looking at the mirror again, he saw his mother. The same hair, the same face, the same sad expression. It took some hours for him to get over the shock, but finally he understood that he could assume whatever shape he wanted to. Statues, animals, people… He could even even imitate voices! Not knowing what to do about it, and very frightened with his own suddenly new abilities, he started to do research, and found out about a school in London, for people like him. Telling his mother that he was going there for college, Mark moved to London, and finding the school, finally knew that it wasn’t the end of the world have such “problems”. He found persons with the several kinds of mutations, and slowly got used to his own. There, he found three guys: Shane, Kian and Nicky, and they became friends. Their powers were very different from each other, but the friendship was stronger than any difference. That’s why when the school was closed, they decided to go to another school together: the Xavier’s school. ‘So, how is the packing going?’ Kian asked, entering in Mark’s bedroom. ‘It’s almost finished, I swear! I won’t make you guys late!’ He said. ‘That’s ok, we still have time.’ He made a pause. ‘Hey, Mark, how did your mother react?’ ‘She thinks I received an invitation to study there, it’s OK… I really hate to lie to her, but her health is very fragile since my father died… I don’t know what could happen to her if I said I am a mutant…’ ‘I understand…’ Kian said. ‘Your aunt is still taking care of her?’ ‘Yes, she is.’ He answered, sad. ‘But I’ll come to visit her all the time! I know she will be okay… Won’t she?...’ He asked, uncertain. Kian smiled and touched his friend’s shoulder. ‘Of course she will. Don’t worry about it.’

Ch 5 By: Kerrie
Nicky Bryne had been at Starsmore University since he was a teenager. The school that looked and acted as a university but was a training school for mutants. By age 14 Nicky was a star soccer player and had amazing speed. One day after a game a man approached him and handed him a card before disappearing. This was the first time Nicky met Jonothon Starsmore or Jono as his students called him. Jono was a student of Professor Xavier and opened a school in London. Nicky contacted Jono after realizing how great of an ability he had. Nicky’s parents feared what would happen to their son but knew attending the school would be better for him. Nicky learned to control his speed and used it when needed. Since being at the school the second longest Nicky mourned the death of Jono more then any other student. No one knew who killed Jono but his girlfriend found his body in their apartment after she came home from work. The school was closed and the young students were moved to schools in other countries. Nicky and 3 others were going to the Xavier School in New York to be trained. This was an honor due to the fact that the US Ambassador in the UN, Hank McCoy, also a fellow mutant hand picked them to train with the X-Men. ‘Shane, do you think they are going to pick us up in the jet?’ Nicky asked as he picked up his bags and started down the hallway. ‘I bet. Nix, we’re gonna meet some American girls at the mansion. Hank said they have a lot of them. He also said something about a niece.’ Shane said laughing. ‘I hope we get to meet Cyclops and Storm. Jono talked about them all the time. He trained with them and Jean.’ ‘What about Wolverine?’ ‘That will be great too. I heard all about what happened in Liberty Island, he seems really cool.’ Nicky turned to see the other two guys coming up the stairs with Hank. ‘The jet should be here soon.’ Hank said looking at his watch. ‘Do you have all of your things?’ They all nodded. ‘I know it’s hard to leave a place you’ve called home for so long. I’m personally looking into what happened to Jono, he was a good friend of mind.’ Hank said getting teary eyed. ‘Here comes the jet. You boys relax, when you get to New York my niece , Spaz, will be there to show you all around.’ ‘Thanks so much, Hank.’ Nicky said as the stairs to the jet lowered. ‘Hey fur ball!’ A brown haired man called. ‘Logan, here are the students. Boys, this is Wolverine. I better be going. I’ll see you all later.’

Ch 6 By: Kerrie
The four of them climbed up the stairs and got settled in seats as the other people on the plane introduced themselves. ‘I’m Cyclops, this is Jean and Storm.’ ‘Nice to meet you all. I’m Kian.’ ‘Let me guess, your Mark, your Shane, and your Nicky?’ Jean asked as they nodded. ‘The girls have been talking about your arrival since Hank visited us last week.’ Storm said laughing. ‘Oh really.’ Kian said with a smile. ‘Dr. X was away so Spaz told everyone.’ ‘Are you ready to start training with us?’ Cyclops asked smiling. ‘I can’t wait.’ Kian said as the jet headed back to New York. Kian remembered when his powers first became evident. He was 13 and got mad at a friend and set their shirt on fire. The next day Kian set a bush on fire outside. His mother saw this and contacted the family doctor. After watching Kian set a chair on fire the doctor sent them to a specialist in London who worked at a University. Once he toured the school Kian felt at home and his parents felt much better about his powers now that he would be learning to control them. The first time Kian controlled his powers was 6 months after he arrived at the school. He started a fire in the fireplace in the common room. Being with other mutants made him feel much more at ease.

Ch 7 By: Raquel
Of course, in a mansion like that, with so many mutants with unusual and exotic powers, you always can be surprised. And you may like this one too. She was called Dark Rose. A tall woman, with light green eyes, and long dark curly hair. She’s been in the mansion for almost five years, and although still young, she likes to listen to people’s problems and try to help them. A kind of maternal instinct, it can be called. It makes most of the people in the mansion have a good relationship with her. ‘Good morning, Rogue.’ She said, walking through the mansion’s garden. ‘Hello, Dark Rose!’ She answered, when got closer to her. ‘How did you know I was coming?’ She asked. Dark Rose smiled and answered: ‘The trees told me.’ ‘Oh, yeah, I forgot about your powers!’ Rogue smiled. ‘You can really hear plant’s voices?’ ‘Like I’m hearing yours, now…’ She answered. ‘It must be very interesting to have that kind of power!’ ‘It actually is!’ Dark Rose nodded her head. ‘Well, I have to go, now! Spaz is waiting for me in the mansion!’ ‘Okay! That’s for you!’ She said, and with a quick hand’s movement, made two roses appear. A red, and a white one. ‘You can choose your favorite color!’ ‘Thanks, it was very kind! I’ll give Spaz the other! Bye!’ She said, before start to walk to the mansion. Dark Rose’s just waved to her, and looking up for a tree, made it to bend a little, and to drop a fruit exactly on her hand. It was time to come back to the mansion too, she thought to herself. Dark Rose's name was actually Raquel. She was a normal human once. A pharmacist specialist in botanics, who worked for a big pharmaceutical company, developing medicines. But one day, while she was trying to make a new medicine using plants and chemical products, she added a radioactive material in the experiment by accident. Later, when she was going to keep it in an appropriate place, it fell out of her hand and all over her. Thinking nothing had happened, she just cleaned the mess, and went home. In the next morning, she went to check how her garden was, and a rose seemed to stretch out to reach her hand. She thought she was just seeing things, but it kept happening, and she discovered that she could manipulate plants freely. Scared with her new abilities, she started to search for help, and found Xavier's mansion, where she learned how to control and use her powers. Daughter of a Swiss father, and an Italian mother, she has beautiful delicate features. As she can make roses appear - and use them as a weapon against an enemy, and calls the attention for her dark hair and green eyes, she received the code name of Dark Rose.

‘We’re coming up on the mansion. Prepare for landing.’ Storm said as Cyclops pressed a few buttons and the jet began to land. The basketball court opened . The stairs lowered and everyone exited. ‘Welcome to the Xavier school!’ A man said approaching the jet in a wheeled chair. ‘I’m Charles Xavier. How was your flight?’ ‘Great, this jet is really something.’ A brunette said as the other 3 nodded. ‘I’m sure Hank told you all about Spaz. She’ll be showing you around. Leave your bags, I’ll have them brought to your rooms.’ The guys introduced themselves and Kerrie started the grand tour. ‘Storm wants to have you all go into the Danger room this afternoon to check out your powers. I’ll be going in with Kitty to do a run through before you guys.’ ‘What’s the Danger room?’ Mark asked as they walked into the med-lab. ‘It’s a practice room that can be set to any given situation. It’s a simulated battle, nothing to crazy for your first time.’ ‘So it gets more difficult?’ ‘As long as you do well. They put me in with Logan in a battle with Magneto, Mystique, and Sabertooth all the time.’ ‘I want to try that one. Jono told us all about Liberty Island.’ ‘Trust me, it’s gonna take you awhile to get there.’ ‘How’s Hank your uncle?’ Shane asked. ‘He’s my godfather. My dad was an only child and my mom only has a sister so I call him an uncle. He monitored my mom’s pregnancy.’ ‘You were born here?’ ‘Yup, not a year after the school was open. Only Storm, Cyclops, and Jean were here. We lived here until I was 2 and we moved to Boston to be closer to my mom’s family.’ Once the tour was complete and they pretty much met everyone Spaz showed them to their room. ‘If you guys want something to eat the kitchen is downstairs. I’ll meet you all at the bottom of the stairs at 4.’ ‘Nice meeting you.’ Nicky said grinning. ‘See you all later.’ Spaz walked down the hall and stopped to talk to a few girls. ‘See I knew there was gonna be good looking American girls here!’ Nicky said happily as he tossed his bag on his bed. ‘Yes there are.’ Shane said looking down the hallway with Kian. ‘You all should concentrate on what we’re going to be doing later. It won’t be a good impression if you can’t complete a task cause your too busy looking at girls.’ Mark said grabbing his bag and going to his room across the hall.

Ch 9 By: Raquel
The Danger Room was a room where the students could fight in simulated battles, testing their powers and learning how to react to extreme situations. Of course, as each student has limitations, the room’s challenges are adapted for each one, so that they can develop their abilities perfectly. Four guys from the London school had arrived in the mansion that day. And of course, visitors always make a first impression. It couldn’t be any different, even with the “professors”. ‘So, what do you think about those boys who arrived?’ Wolverine asked Storm, while they were monitoring a student, training in the Danger Room. ‘I’m not a 100% sure yet…’ She answered. ‘They seemed to be good boys, and I hope they can have a great time here.’ ‘Do you know the past of any of them?’ ‘Not much…’ she said. ‘The Professor told more about them to Jean, and she said me a little, but nothing too big. I only know what are each one mutations.’ ‘Do you think they will succeed? You know, if one day they really have to battle against Magneto, for example…’ ‘Well, it’s up to them, don’t you think? I mean, every student has a potential… The success only depends of the will to make things work… But I think they’re good boys.’ ‘Yes, I think so…’ He nodded. ‘And I hope so…’ He added. ‘I don’t think we have reasons to worry about it.’ Storm said to him. ‘Talking about the new students?’ Cyclops asked, approaching them. ‘Yes, we were talking about their powers, and how they could act in danger situations.’ Storm answered. ‘Well, we’ll find out soon, when they come to train here, don’t we?’ Cyclops commented. ‘I don’t know… I’m never a 100% comfortable with new people around… I think it has something to do with instincts, you know?’ Wolverine said. ‘Well, I think all about you has something to do with instincts…’ Cyclops smiled, ironic, and Storm tried not to laugh, while Wolverine just raised an eyebrow, serious.

Ch 10 By: Kerrie
That night all the girls were meeting in Kerrie’s room for a “girls night in” even Storm and Jean were in attendance. Kerrie walked into the kitchen grabbing a few bags of chips and some soda. ‘Another girls night?’ Logan asked looking up from his sandwich. ‘Yea, you know it’s every other Tuesday.’ ‘To gossip about the new guys?’ ‘Why do you think every time it’s a girls night that were always talking about guys.’ Kerrie asked with her hands on her hips. ‘I know most of the time you do.’ He said getting up and moving closer to her. ‘That’s not true.’ She said protectively. ‘I think it is.’ He said putting his arms around her waist. ‘Logan-’ She was cut off when their lips met in a kiss. After a few moments she moved away. ‘Someone could-’ ‘Yea I know.’ He said shaking his head. ‘We can meet tomorrow to go for a walk or something.’ ‘This is getting a bit out of hand, I know your scared about telling everyone but I don’t think this is going to be a huge problem.’ ‘We will soon. I better get up to my rooms or the girls will be worrying.’ Kerrie grabbed her things and teleported back to her room. ‘So... Spaz, which one do you want?’ Rogue said grinning. ‘Who says I’m looking for someone?’ She said putting down the chips and sodas. ‘I think Mark’s pretty cute.’ Kitty said grinning. ‘What about you Dark Rose?’ Spaz asked. ‘Kian seems nice.’ ‘You girls are something else.’ Storm said laughing. ‘Polaris, it’s your turn.’ Rogue said. ‘I don’t know... I only met them for a minute.’ ‘She was checking out Shane. I saw her.’ Kitty said. ‘So that leaves Nicky so you, Spaz.’ Dark Rose said. ‘Anyway... we were thinking of planning a party to welcome them. What do you girls think?’ Jean asked pulling put a notebook and pen. ‘I like that, we should have a BBQ.’ Spaz said as she started listing some ideas. After a few hours and a chick flick the girls all headed to bed.

Ch 11 By: Raquel
Everything seemed to be calm in the mansion, that evening. All the students had just had dinner, and were talking, reading, and doing some other things before it was time to go to bed. Bobby was walking through the corridors, when he heard some known names coming from one room... "Spaz", "Rogue", "Kitty", "Dark Rose"... Slowing down his steps, he approached the room, to see who was talking. And apparently, were the guys who had arrived from Europe recently. ‘So, what do you think about Rogue, Shane?’ Nicky asked. ‘I don’t know really… She seems sweet…’ He answered. ‘Actually she is… Very sweet…’ Bobby said, and the four guys turned to him, making him blush a bit ‘I’m sorry… I was just passing by…’ He apologized. ‘That’s OK, don’t worry about it!’ Mark told. ‘Yeah, haven’t you heard that Irish guys talk very loud?’ Kian asked, looking serious to Nicky. ‘I’m sorry, I can’t help it!’ Nicky said, not seeming worried. ‘So, you were talking about the girls, huh?’ Bobby smiled, feeling more comfortable with the situation, sitting in one of the armchairs in the room. ‘I heard you gained a welcome barbecue this afternoon…’ ‘Yes, we did!’ Nicky smiled ‘That’s what we’re talking about! The impression we had about the girls!’ ‘And?’ Bobby looked at them, waiting to hear their opinions. ‘Well, they all seemed very nice to me…’ Shane said, a bit shy, as always ‘I think we’ll be good friends…’ ‘Friends? Really?’ Kian asked. ‘I think you want a bit more than that with Kitty…’ Nicky laughed, nodding his head. ‘Yeah, I agree with Kian!’ ‘No, I don’t!’ Shane said, blushing. ‘Leave him, guys!’ Mark said ‘Don’t you see he’s sensible because he’s so in love…’ He blinked fast, making the others to laugh. ‘Look who’s talking, “Mr. Let me help you with the salad, Polaris”…’ Shane replied. ‘What? She actually needed help!’ Mark defended himself. ‘Of course she did!’ Kian smiled. ‘As Spaz needed some lotion as to not get sunburned…’ He looked at Nicky. ‘Hey, I’m a gentleman who worries about girl’s skin safety, okay?’ Nicky said, pretending to be angry. ‘What about the other girls?’ Bobby asked, looking at them. ‘Dark Rose seems to be an interesting girl…’ Kian said. ‘Yes, that’s why you talked so much with her, didn’t you?’ Mark smiled. ‘Who knows what’s going to happen tomorrow?’ Kian asked ‘I need to know people, you know? To build a friendship!’ ‘Yeah, I know what kind of friendship you like to make with girls…’ Shane laughed. ‘I can’t help it!’ Kian blinked. ‘Seriously, are any of you actually interested in any of them?’ Bobby asked. ‘Seriously?’ Nicky asked ‘It’s a bit soon to say… But I’ll definitely spend a long time in America !’

Ch 12 By: Kerrie
After the BBQ the girls were in the kitchen talking. ‘Kitty, do you think Spaz is really dating him?’ Polaris asked. ‘I saw her with him last night. He went into her room.’ ‘Well... I think we should talk to her first.’ Rogue said. ‘I mean come on who wouldn’t want to date him?’ Polaris asked giggling. ‘Figures she nabs him.’ Kitty said as Dark Rose and Kerrie walked into the kitchen. ‘Hey girls, what yea talking about?’ The three girls looked away. ‘We kinda wanted to ask you somethin.’ Rogue said slowly. ‘Well... you know how during girls night you said somethin along the lines of “how do yea know I’m not dating anyone?” We are wondering if you are dating someone?’ Rogue said quickly. ‘You girls are crazy.’ Kerrie said going over to the counter to put the finishing touches on her fudge cake. ‘I saw you with him last night.’ Kitty said boldly. ‘Saw me with who?’ Spaz said turing around with her arms crossed. ‘I saw you with Logan. You two were kissing then he followed you into your room.’ Kitty said in a matter-of-fact tone. ‘Shit...’ Kerrie trailed off. ‘So... how long has this been going on?’ Polaris asked. ‘You guys need to promise not to tell anyone yet. My parents are here and I’m not ready to tell them yet.’ ‘Spaz, some on spill it.’ Dark Rose said pulling up a chair. ‘Ok, we’ve been seeing each other for almost 3 months. It was my idea to keep it quiet since everyone was still making a big deal about Pete and I.’ ‘You get all the hot built guys.’ Kitty said laughing. ‘Who does?’ Bobby said walking into the kitchen with Shane. ‘You didn’t hear anythin did yea?’ Rogue asked as Kerrie glared at him. ‘Only the last part. Hey... I want to know.’ Bobby said. ‘No way, your a big mouth.’ ‘You know Rogue is gonna tell me anyway. Who is it?’ Bobby asked. ‘I’m not telling you.’ ‘It’s Logan isn’t it?’ Bobby asked smirking as Kerrie turned a bright shade of red. ‘Ha! I knew it, you two have been awful close for sometime now. So.... are you finally over Pete?’ ‘I have been over Pete for months. He’s the one that acted like a jerk.’ Kerrie said giving him a dirty look. ‘This is too funny.’ Bobby walked out of the kitchen. ‘Drake, if you tell anyone I’ll kill you!’ Kerrie yelled after him.

Ch 13 By: Raquel
Kian had just had breakfast, and decided to walk a little. The boys were still in the kitchen, and he knew they’d stay there for a long time. It was a beautiful morning… Not too sunny, but pleasant. Although he was there for almost a week, he didn’t know all the mansion yet. And, of course, he couldn’t. He spent most of the time having classes and training… But he liked to use his spare time to know more about that place where he wanted to be for so long. Hearing sounds, like someone was around, he walked in their direction, and founded Dark Rose, on her knees, apparently taking care of a garden. Approaching to her, he heard her voice: ‘Hi, Kian… Were you trying to scare me?’ She asked, with a smile on her face. ‘Yeah, you got me!’, He said, kidding, ‘But how you knew I was here?’ ‘Let’s say I have very good ears!’ She looked at him, smiling, ‘Do you want to help me here?’ ‘Well… I’m not a gardener, but I can try…’ He said, kneeling next to her, ‘What do you want me to do?’ ‘You can take those seeds there, and give them to me!’ She pointed to the seeds, and Kian got them, giving to her, ‘Thank you very much!’ She smiled. ‘What exactly are you doing?’ He asked, sitting on the floor. ‘Well, in planting some roses in these flowerpots! And as soon as they’re grown, I’m gonna put them on the earth, with these ones!’ She pointed to the roses in the garden. ‘And why are you gonna leave them here?’ He asked, ‘It’s far from the mansion…’ ‘I know, but they prefer here!’ ‘They prefer?’ Kian asked, confused. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t talk to you about my powers… I kinda can hear plants… You know, feel what they feel, we understand each other!’ She smiled. ‘Ahh…’ He stayed quiet for a moment, ‘So why do they prefer to stay here? It’s just seeds…’ ‘Yes, but the grown ups will encourage them to grow too!’ She answered, and stopped what she was doing, ‘I’m sorry, you must be thinking I’m crazy…’ ‘Well, I’m living near Nicky for years! Nothing seems crazy anymore!’ He smiled, and she smiled back. ‘Good, I feel more comfortable this way.’, She said. ‘Can I ask you something?’ ‘Sure!’ She smiled, putting some earth on the flowerpots. ‘Is it true that Spaz and Logan are having an affair or something?’, He asked, and Dark Rose looked to him, a bit surprise. ‘Who told you this?’ ‘Well, someone…’, He mumbled. ‘It was Bobby?’ ‘No, it was Shane…’, He confessed, ‘He was with Bobby and they heard something in the kitchen…’ ‘Well, so I guess I can’t lie to you…’ She sighed, ‘I forgot Shane was there too…’ ‘Don’t worry! He just told me and the guys, we won’t tell anyone, I promise!’ She laughed a little, and smiled to him. ‘I’m not worried! But you should be! If Spaz discovers this, she will… Well, almost kill you!’ ‘Really?’ He asked, looking a bit surprised. She laughed. ‘No she won’t! Maybe just hurt you a little!’ She winked.

Ch 14 By: Kerrie
Over the past week a lot has happened. Logan and Spaz’s relationship had finally come into the open after the Professor talked to them. Pete aka Colossus had come back from Russia. He and Spaz had dated for almost a year before they broke up eight months ago before he went to Russia to help the school there. Spaz was walking down the stairs reading a book when she bumped into Nicky. ‘Sorry... not paying attention.’ She said laughing. ‘Not a problem. What yea reading?’ ‘A book my little sister sent me Snakecharm by Amelia Attwater-Rhodes. It’s a book more suited to her age but she liked it so I want to have something to talk to her about.’ ‘How old is she?’ ‘She just turned 15. Her and my two brother’s aren’t mutants.’ ‘Ahh...’ ‘Are your siblings mutants?’ ‘Nope, I’m the only one in my family that I know of.’ ‘Oh great.’ Kerrie muttered as a tall guy with dark hair came walking over. ‘Care to welcome me home.’ He said. ‘No thanks. Nicky, this is Pioter. Pioter, this is Nicky. He’s one of the four guys from the London school.’ ‘I heard about you and Wolverine.’ Pete said smirking. ‘Oh did yea now? Did you really think that I was going to be depressed about our relationship?’ ‘Umm... guys I’m gonna go...’ Nicky said feeling extremely uncomfortable. ‘I’ll walk with you cause I don’t want to have the same conversation twice.’ Kerrie said glaring at Pete. Nicky started down the hallway and Kerrie followed. ‘Sorry about that.’ Spaz said half smiling. ‘So that’s the infamous Pete?’ Nicky asked. ‘Did Bobby tell you all about him?’ ‘Pretty much, he also mentioned something about a nasty breakup.’ ‘That doesn’t even come close to describing it-’ Kerrie froze when she heard a slam. ‘Don’t you even look at her.’ Came a growl. ‘Damn!’ Kerrie took off running in the direction with Nicky behind her. Logan had Pete pinned to the wall. ‘What’s going on?’ Spaz asked. ‘This jerk was causing trouble.’ Logan said as he made a fist. ‘Logan-’ ‘Break it up.’ Scott said walked over and trying to pull Logan off Pete. ‘Watch it one eye.’ Logan muttered as he stalked off towards his room. Kerrie shrugged before going after Logan.

Ch 15 By: Raquel
The Mansion didn’t use to have a lot of parties, but that day had to be an exception. It was the Professor’s birthday, and Storm and Jean Grey agreed that he deserved a big party! And so, as the people there didn’t have lots of opportunity to go to a party, they decided to make a big formal party, who would take place in the outside of the mansion. Of course, the notice spread very fast, and soon everyone were discussing what clothes to wear, or who to invite. Nobody wanted to come to the party alone, so the guys started looking for dates, which wasn’t a problem for some people, of course… ‘I’m starting to get worried!’ Polaris sighed. ‘The party is the day after tomorrow, and no one invited me yet!’ ‘Don’t you worry!’ Spaz said, ‘I’m sure someone you invite you, till then!’ ‘It’s easy for you to say…’ Kitty muttered, ‘You have a guy to go with you anywhere!’ ‘I actually do, but I’m sure it won’t be a problem for you!’ Spaz smiled. ‘Hey, girls! What are you doing?’ Rogue approached them. ‘Polaris and Kitty are kinda freaking out, because no one invited them for the party yet.’ Spaz explained, and Rogue smiled. ‘Don’t worry, girls! If no one does invite you, one of you can go with me!’ She winked. ‘Yeah, that will be much less embarrassing, thank you…’ Polaris said, a bit ironic, but kidding. Suddenly, the four guys from London appeared. ‘Excuse me…’ Shane said. ‘Polaris, could I talk to you for a second?’ ‘Sure!’ She said, coming close to him. ‘Well, I’m not sure how to say that, but… Would you like to come to the party with me?’ He asked, a bit shy. ‘Oh, Shane, how cute…’ She smiled, as she wasn’t excited with the invitation, ‘Of course I’d like to go with you! Thank you for inviting me!’ ‘Thank you for accepting…’ He said, ‘I was afraid you could say no! So I didn’t want to say anything in front of the boys!’ He confessed, and she smiled. During the time that, Nicky was asking Rogue a question: ‘Do you have anyone to go to the party with?’ ‘Actually, I don’t…’ She said, with her face turning a bit red. ‘Would you like to come with me?’ ‘Oh, how kind of you, Nicky!’ She smiled, ‘Yes, I’d love to!’ Then, Nicky saw that Mark were very quiet, and turned to Kitty: ‘Hey, Kitty! Would you like to go to the party with Mark?’ He asked, and Mark looked at him surprised, mumbling: ‘I was gonna ask…’ ‘Yeah, I know!’ Nicky blinked, and Mark turned to Kitty, very embarrassed. ‘I’d love to…’ She answered, and he smiled a bit. ‘Did anyone see Dark Rose around?’ Kian asked. ‘Well, I think she is in the garden taking care of some flowers...’ Spaz said. ‘Hearing ‘garden’ and ‘taking care of flowers’ in the same phrase, I assume you were referring to me!’ Dark Rose smiled, walking in their direction, coming from the outside of the mansion. ‘Yes, I think Kian would like to ask you something…’ Spaz looked at her, and Dark Rose stopped in front of him. ‘Yes?’ ‘Well, I was wondering… If you’d like to come to the Professor’s party with me…’ He said. ‘Of course! I’d love to!’ She smiled ‘How cute you are!’ ‘Well, I brought you something…’ He said, and did some movements with his hands, making the girls and the boys look at him. As nothing happened, he turned red, and said, ‘Ok, I tried to learn a human trick, but it didn’t work…’ He took a red rose, and gave to her. ‘How kind, Kian!’ she smiled, and kissed him on the cheek. ‘I can’t believe you did this all night and couldn’t do it now!’ Nicky said, and Kian looked at him, furious. ‘Ok, I guess we must go, now!’ Shane smiled, seeing that Nicky and Kian would have a discussion any minute. ‘Thank you for the invitation, guys!’, Rogue said, as they walked away. ‘See? Everyone has a date now!’ Spaz smiled to the girls. ‘It’s not exactly a date…’ Polaris said. ‘I hope it is…’ Kitty mumbled, and the other girls looked at her and laughed.

Ch 16 By: Kerrie
The Professor’s party came quickly. Kerrie was dreading talking to her parents and Hank about Logan. She mentioned to them on the phone that she was seeming someone but did not mention who. When they walked into the ball room it seemed like all eyes were on them. ‘Here they come.’ Kerrie muttered as her parents and Hank came hurrying over. ‘So...where’s your date?’ Her mother asked. ‘Mom, Dad, Uncle Hank; I’m dating Logan.’ She said half smiling. There was long silence before her dad spoke up. ‘Oh...umm...that’s nice. Hunny, can we talk to you for a minutes?’ He asked as Logan nodded. ‘Spaz, is this really a good idea?’ Her mother asked. ‘Mom, I really care about him. We’ve been dating for a couple of months now-’ ‘How long is a couple of months?’ Hank asked crossing his arms. ‘3 months.’ She said quickly. ‘3 months? Kerrie, are you out of your-’ ‘Celeste, Kerrie is old enough to make up her own mind. We should support her decision.’ Her father said. ‘Thanks, dad.’ Kerrie said hugging him. Hank and Celeste left the situation alone and the party went on without any problems. All of the X-Men trainees were given recognition at the party. The Professor called them up in front of the crowd to introduce them. There was quiet a bit of gossip that Rogue was there with Nicky and not Bobby. ‘Thanks for taking the heat off us, kid.’ Logan said patting Rogue on the back. ‘Hey, that’s not fair.’ Rogue said as Spaz smirked. ‘We’ve been the talk of the mansion too long. It’s your turn.’ She said before dragging Logan onto the dance floor. Polaris spent most of the night trying hard to keep her distance from Shane. Kitty and Mark had some laughs making fun of some of the older drunk guests. Dark Rose and Kian were getting along really well, they spent most of the night dancing or talking to each other. The next morning the girls were all awake at 10 and decided to lounge by the pool. ‘Last night was fun.’ Rogue said looking up from her book. ‘Yea it was. You and Kian looked pretty cozy.’ Kerrie said smirking as Dark Rose blushed. ‘He’s a really great guy.’ She said smiling. ‘You three had fun. I was hiding most of the night.’ Polaris said sitting down on the edge of the pool. ‘What about you, Kitty?’ Rogue asked. ‘It was a good night. Bobby was upset that you went with Nicky.’ ‘Spaz, this is the longest you and Logan have been apart in days.’ Polaris said laughing. ‘I think someone must have Wolverine whipped.’ ‘I do not.’ Spaz said shocked. ‘You think he still doesn’t do what he wants?’ ‘Where is he anyway?’ Rogue asked. ‘Asleep, he had a joy of getting interrogated by my parents and Hank.’ ‘Ha! That must have been fun.’ Kitty said laughing. ‘My dad was actually fine with it. I know my mom will give me an earful when she calls tomorrow.’

Ch 17 By: Raquel
That was a calm Sunday morning. Some of the students were still sleeping, others were walking around, talking, and relaxing after a long week. In the garden of the mansion, Raquel and Kian were taking care of the flowers she had planted. And he was getting quite good at it. ‘You’re learning fast, Kian!’ Raquel smiled at him, seeing him pruning some roses. ‘Yes, I admit I am!’ He smiled ‘It’s not as boring as I thought it would be…’ ‘Actually I think it’s relaxing!’ She said, putting some water on the flowerpots she had left there. ‘I could stay here all day…’ He looked at her and smiled. ‘Me too…’ He said. She looked at him, and he blushed a bit, turning to the flowers again. ‘Are you okay, Kian?’ Raquel asked. ‘I’m great! Why?’ He answered, not looking at her. ‘I don’t know… Nobody spends much time here with me… And you’re coming here all the time. I’m not complaining, I love your company, but… I don’t know, sometimes you seem strange or something…’ She explained. ‘I think it’s just an impression.’ He half smiled. ‘I like to spend time here, with you.’ ‘How cute!’ She looked at him ‘Thank you so much! I like not to be alone here…’ ‘And I like being with you…’ He mumbled. ‘You what?’ She turned to him. ‘I-I… I didn’t say anything…’ He said, quickly. ‘Yes, you did…’ She insisted. ‘How can you be so sure?’ He asked, and she looked at the rose in his hand. ‘I forgot roses like to gossip…’ He said, ironic, and sighed. ‘Kian, you don’t need to be like this… I like being with you too…’ She smiled, touching his hand, and he looked at her. ‘Really?’ ‘Of course, I do!’ She answered, and both stayed quiet for some moments. ‘Well, I don’t know what to say, now…’ She half smiled. Kian touched her face, and approached her, looking in her eyes. Seeing she wanted that as much as him, he came closer, touching her lips softly with his, as their eyes closed, slowly. ‘KIAN, YOU MUST SEE THIS!!’ A voice said, screaming, and Kian and Raquel separated, immediately. Looking to the side, they could see Nicky running in their direction. ‘What??’ Kian asked, in a bit rude tone. ‘Kitty and Mark just kissed!’ Nicky said, pointing to the mansion, as they could see them, from the garden. Kian looked at him, seeming very mad, and Nicky stopped, looking at him, Raquel and the flowers. ‘You were taking care of flowers?’ Nicky asked, smiling. ‘How gay is this?’ ‘What are you trying to say, Nicky?’ Kian stood up, serious. ‘I’m trying to say you must see Mark and Kitty!’ Nicky said. ‘Everyone saw, although they guarantee it was an accident, because she was going to fall, and he held her, you know?’ ‘No, I don’t!’ Kian crossed his arms. ‘What’s wrong with you, man?’ Nicky asked, and Raquel stood up too ‘Well, let’s go to the mansion, then…’ She said, starting to walk to the house. Kian looked at Nicky, and mumbled: ‘I’m gonna kill you.’ ‘No, you won’t!’ Nicky said. ‘What would be of the Universe without me?’ ‘A place where people wouldn’t be interrupted, I suppose!’ Kian said, angry, going back to the mansion, as Nicky sighed. ‘Then, when I say he’s strange, nobody believe me…’ Nicky mumbled, following him and Raquel.

Ch 18 By: Kerrie
Monday morning everyone met for an evacuation drill. ‘Now, everyone listen carefully. I doubt the mansion will ever come under attack but in the case that it does we need a plan. All of you know the underground escape route correct?’ The Professor asked as everyone nodded. ‘Great, if the mansion was attacked by Magneto and his followers I want Storm, Jean, Scott, Logan, myself, Kian, Mark and Spaz to be the front line of defense or Team 1. Scott and Storm will be in charge if something was to happen to me. Also any guests such as Hank, any foreign mutants or relatives will join us. Rogue, Bobby, Nicky, Polaris, Shane, Dark Rose, Kitty, and Pete to guide the younger students out and become Team 2. Specifically I want Pete and Bobby in the back as a last defense. Kitty and Dark Rose will be the head of this team. We will all be going back to our schedule and randomly today and once a day for the rest of the week we will be practicing this drill. The alarm will sound and I want team 1 outside as fast as possible. Team 2 I want Kitty and Dark Rose to get to the emergency exit fast. Whichever is there first start leading a group of children out. Nicky and Shane will check rooms along with Bobby and Pete.’ Everyone was silent as Jean handed out a few papers to those in Team 1 and 2. ‘Let’s resume classes.’ The Professor said as everyone went their own way. ‘Your so lucky.’ Polaris said to Spaz. ‘Why so?’ ‘You get to be in Team 1.’ ‘Polaris, you have an important role too.’ ‘They just don’t trust me.’ Polaris said hanging her head. ‘Polaris, keep working on your powers. You can keep freezing up in the Danger Room. Hey Kitty, I gotta thank you again for being the talk of the mansion.’ Kerrie said smirking. ‘No thanks to Nicky.’ Kitty muttered. ‘You two look great together. It’s about time you find a man.’ Polaris said grinning. ‘You and Kian look cozy too.’ Kitty said as Dark Rose joined them. ‘Says who?’ She said blushing. ‘Who do yea think?’ Kitty said rolling her eyes. ‘He’s as bad as Bobby.’ Polaris said softly. ‘Are we meeting in your room tonight?’ Kitty asked Spaz. ‘Like always, I’m gonna make some good snacks.’

Ch 19 By: Raquel
That night, as always, the girls were supposed to meet in Spaz’s room. But time passed by, and there was no sign of her. The girls talked for some time, but soon they started to get a little worried. They decided to separate to ask around for Spaz. ‘Hey, Bobby!’ Rogue approached him. ‘Have you seen Spaz around?’ ‘No, I haven’t…’ He answered ‘Why?’ ‘Well, we were supposed to meet like a hour ago, and she didn’t come.’ ‘I’m sure you have nothing to worry about!’ Bobby said ‘She must have forgotten or something…’ ‘I don’t think so…’ Rogue said, a bit sarcastic, as Kitty approached them. ‘No one seems to have seen her… I’m starting to get really worried.’ Kitty said. ‘What about Polaris and Dark Rose?’ Rogue asked. ‘They’re still upstairs, looking for her… I suggest we look here a bit more, and then go upstairs, to meet them.’ Kitty answered. ‘That’s fine by me!’ Rogue agreed, and they started to walk away from Bobby. ‘Hey! Can I help?’ Bobby asked. ‘No!’ They answered, in unison. ‘That’s fine, I didn’t want to help, anyway!’ He mumbled, crossing his arms. Meanwhile, upstairs, Polaris and Dark Rose kept looking for Spaz. ‘Any news?’ Dark Rose asked, as she met Polaris, in a hallway. ‘Nothing, so far…’ Polaris sighed. ‘Where do you think she can be?’ ‘I really don’t know…’ Dark Rose answered. ‘If only there were more plants inside this place…’ She looked around, and saw Kian and Shane coming in their direction, and Shane was holding a beer bottle. ‘What are you doing with this?’ Polaris asked, looking serious to them. ‘Going to our room?’ Kian looked at her, raising an eyebrow. ‘Why do you look so mad?’ Shane questioned. ‘Because that’s a bad habit! I don’t like guys who drink! I won’t drink this, Shane!’ Polaris answered, without thinking, and Dark Rose looked at her, a bit surprised. ‘What did you just say?’ Kian asked, looking as surprised as Shane and Dark Rose. ‘Nothing, I said nothing…’ She mumbled, blushing. ‘Do you like Shane?’ Kian smiled, malicious. ‘No I don’t!’ She assured. ‘Yes, you do!’ Kian insisted, and Shane and Polaris blushed. ‘Damn, Dark Rose, control your boyfriend!!’ Polaris said, loud, and walked away, furious. ‘My what?’ Dark Rose asked, looking at her. ‘Well, I think I should talk to her…’ Shane said, giving the bottle to Kian, and going after Polaris. As they saw they were alone, Dark Rose and Kian looked each other, and kept in silence for some time. ‘Am I your boyfriend?’ Kian asked, and Dark Rose opened her eyes wide. ‘What?’ ‘Am I your boyfriend? It’s a simple question!’ ‘I didn’t even know we were dating or something…’ She said, looking at him ‘Are we?’ ‘Maybe…’ He mumbled, and some more silence were heard. ‘What are you doing here?’ ‘I’m looking for Spaz…’ She answered. ‘Have you seem her?’ ‘Well, Nicky saw her…’ ‘Great! Does he know where she is?’ Dark Rose asked. ‘Can you keep a secret?’ He asked. ‘Of course I can!’ She affirmed. ‘Come with me…’ Kian said, and walked to the guy’s room, opening the door. As he walked in, Dark Rose could see Nicky sitting in an armchair, seeming very upset ‘Here it is, man…’ Kian gave to him the beer bottle. ‘Thank you.’ Nicky said, taking it, opening and drinking a bit, as Kian left the room, closing the door. ‘What’s wrong with him?’ Dark Rose whispered to Kian. ‘I think he’s…’ ‘He’s what?’ ‘Falling in love…’ Kian answered, and Dark Rose looked at him, surprised. ‘You mean… With Spaz?’ She asked. ‘I think so… He saw her and Logan kissing, and entering his room, and now he’s that way you saw…’ ‘Poor Nicky…’ Dark Rose sighed. ‘Well, at least I know where Spaz is… She must have fallen asleep…’ ‘I’m so sorry for Nicky, but there’s nothing I can do, right?’ He asked. ‘I hope he gets better…’ She said. ‘Well, I have to go now, and tell the girls that I found out where Spaz is!’ ‘Can’t you send a message?’ He looked at her. ‘A message?’ She asked, confused, and saw Kitty and Rogue coming in their direction. ‘There they are!’ ‘So?’ Rogue looked to Dark Rose, and she smiled. ‘Spaz is with Logan in his room, they must have fallen asleep.’ Dark Rose answered, and the two girls sighed. ‘Oh, thank God, I was getting really worried!’ Kitty said. ‘Oh, and Polaris is with Shane, but I think she already knows about Spaz, because Shane does…’ Dark Rose explained. ‘That’s OK, then!’ Kitty smiled. ‘I’m gonna meet Mark!’ She said, and stopped, blushing ‘I mean… I’m gonna study a bit…’ and walked away from them. ‘That’s so unfair!’ Rogue sighed. ‘Everyone has a guy’s arms to fall asleep and I don’t!’ She said, walking to the stairs. ‘Well, if that makes you feel any better, me neither!’ Dark Rose said, a bit loud, so that she could hear. Kian looked at her, and held her hand. ‘That can be arranged…’ He said, pulling her into an empty room.

Ch 20 By: Kerrie
Spaz woke up next to Logan and cursed silently as she looked at the clock. 'What's the matter?' Logan mumbled. 'I slept through our girls night last night. The girls are gonna be mad.' Spaz tossed on her stuff. 'Why you leaving so soon?' Logan asked smirking. 'My brother and sister are coming today. We're leaving for my brother's wedding tomorrow.' 'Spaz, it's 8am.' 'They will be here at 10 and I still need to pack and apologize.' She hurried down the hall to her room. She took a quick shower then gathered her clothes for the weekend trip to Florida. Once she was done it was 9:30 so she headed down the breakfast. Kitty, Rogue, Polaris, and Dark Rose were sitting together. 'I'm so sorry about last night-' 'We know, you fell asleep in Logan's room.' Kitty said smirking. 'Don't worry you didn't miss much except that Polaris admitted she likes Shane.' Rogue said laughing. 'So you guys aren't mad at me?' She said sitting down. 'No, it's understandable.' 'Maybe we can watch the movie this afternoon. Kelly won't mind joining us and Kyle wants to meet Logan.' 'Your brother is too funny, he's still obsessing about meeting Wolverine?' Polaris asked laughing. 'Yea, he wants to be a mutant so bad. If he could find a way to force a long term mutation he would.' Kerrie said looking at her watch. 'They should be here soon I'll go wait for them.' 'Are your parents coming to?' 'Nope, they are already in Florida.' 'Your gonna miss the school field trip to DC aren't you so jealous?' Rogue asked laughing. ‘Right any girl would rather be in the Florida sun then walking around historic sites.' Kitty said her
smile fading as she saw Nicky staring at Kerrie. 'I'll see you guys in awhile.' Kerrie hurried out to the driveway as the girls resumed their conversation. 'I feel so bad about this. Look at him, he's so miserable.' Kitty said shaking her head. 'Spaz seems happy with Logan and he seems the same way.' 'Do you think he's really over Jean? He was head over heels,feelings like those don't change over night.' Rogue said as Bobby came walking over. 'Hey girls!' He said sitting on the edge of the table. 'What do you want now?' Rogue asked crossing her arms. 'You love to hate me don't you?' He asked laughing. 'I never said I hate you, I said that you were insensitive.' 'Bobby, can you beat it? Your interrupting a very important conversation.' Kitty said. 'Fine, don't let me get in the way.' He said getting up and walking into the hallway. The girls ended the conversation as Kelly and Kyle came walking into the dining room followed by Spaz. Kyle and Kelly had the same blue eyes and red hair as their older sister. 'Kyle, is that facial hair I see?' Kitty asked laughing. 'Yea, I'm growing a beard. The ladies dig it.' He said as Kelly rolled her eyes. 'Spaz, when can I meet the legend?' Kyle asked. 'There he is. Go introduce yourself.' Kerrie said as Kyle hurried over to a table. 'Yea.' Logan said looking up from the paper and his coffee. 'Holy-' 'I'm Kyle.' 'No mistaking that. I'm Logan.' He said shaking his hand. Kyle sat down and began questioning Logan about his abilities.

Part 2: Somewhere I Belong
Ch 1

It was a busy Monday morning in the White House as a tour went through a man separated from the group and made his way towards the Oval Office. After several minutes of fighting with the Secret Service he made his way into the office and pinned the President to his desk only to be shot. He stabbed the knife into the desk before disappearing into thin air. Meanwhile across the city at the Smithsonian Institute the students of the Xavier School were on a tour. Rogue, Bobby, and Pyro were in the food court. Pyro as usually was starting trouble with two guys and it ended with Professor Xavier having to freeze time. 'Something has happened we need to get back to the mansion.' He said as Storm, Cyclops, Wolverine, and Jean ushered the students out to the waiting bus. They boarded the jet outside of DC and were back to New York in less then 20 minutes. The Professor went right to phone to call Hank while everyone was sent to their rooms. Later that afternoon Kerrie arrived from Florida. 'Why's the mansion so quiet?' She asked Storm who had let her in. 'There was an attack made on the President by a mutant. The Professor is in Cebro trying to track the mutant down. Then Scott is going to take him to visit Magneto. Jean and I will find the mutant. I think you should come with us, that is if your up for it.' 'Yea, that would be great.' 'Go put your bags away and meet me in the Professor's office.' Kerrie nodded and headed up to her room. 'Did you hear what happened?' Kitty asked coming into Kerrie's room behind her. 'Yea, I'm going out on a mission.' 'Are you serious? That's great.' Polaris and Rogue came into the room along with Dark Rose. 'Spaz, is going on a mission.' Kitty said as Polaris's face fell. 'So your an Official X-Man now?' Rogue asked. 'I guess so. I better go Storm is waiting for me.' Kerrie hurried down the stairs. When she entered the Professor's office Storm, Cyclops, Jean, and Logan were standing around. 'Welcome to the team.' Scott said giving her a hug. 'Thanks.' 'It's about time, we can always use a hand.' Jean said also giving her a hug. Logan stood back with his arms crossed. 'Are you sure she's ready?' He asked. 'Logan, she has been ready for a long time.' The Professor said coming into the room. 'Spaz, you will be going to Boston with Jean and Storm. Scott and I are going to visit Erik so Logan that leaves you in charge. If you need any help Pete is aware of what is going on.' Kerrie smiled to herself as she walked into the hallway with Storm and Jean. 'Your parents and Hank will be so proud.' Storm said patting her back. 'They will.' She said half smiling. Upstairs the girls had told everyone of Spaz's promotion. 'That is really cool. I can't wait to go out on a mission.' Shane said. 'We will all be ready soon.' Polaris said coolly. 'Polaris, if you busted your but like Spaz did then you'd be promoted to.' Kitty said defending her best friend. 'I didn't say that. I know I haven't worked hard. It scares me that someday I'll have to face my father.' She said getting up and walking out of the room.

Ch 2 By: Raquel
The mansion was very quiet that night, and most of the students were asleep. Rogue and Polaris were playing poker with Shane and Nicky, in the kitchen, as Kitty and Mark were asleep, and Kian and Dark Rose were watching TV. Nothing seemed to be wrong, and people in the kitchen were really enjoying the game. ‘Be careful girls, I will win…’ Nicky smiled, looking at his cards. ‘What makes you think that?’ Rogue looked at him. ‘The fact that I’m the best in everything!’ Nicky said, and the girls laughed a bit. ‘You can laugh now, but I’ll show ya!’ 'Of course you will, Nicky…’ Shane smiled. ‘Now it’s Rogue’s turn!’ ‘Let me see…’ She sighed, looking to her cards. Logan entered the kitchen, and saw the group playing. Walking to the refrigerator, he opened it, taking a beer. ‘What are you kids playing?’ He asked, drinking the beer .‘Detective?’ He smiled a bit, ironic. ‘We are playing poker, okay?’ Rogue looked at him, serious. ‘All right…’ He laughed a bit. ‘Grown ups game! You almost don’t smell like milk, anymore…’ He raised an eyebrow. ‘It doesn’t matter! I’m gonna win!’ Nicky said, serious, as he could turn into some kind of threat to Logan, by winning the game. Shane nodded his head. ‘Of course you will, Nicky!’ In the living room, Dark Rose was almost falling asleep on Kian’s arms, and she sighed, half smiling. ‘I never imagined, when I first saw you, that one day we’d be this way…’ She mumbled, and he smiled, kissing her forehead. ‘I had some thoughts, but… I prefer keep them locked in my head…’ He said, and she looked at him, smiling. ‘I imagine what kinds of thoughts you had…’ She whispered, and kissed him. Suddenly, she broke the kiss, seeming very frightened. ‘What’s wrong?’ Kian asked, caressing her hair. ‘There are men out there…’ She whispered. ‘The trees… Some of they are climbing on them, and they intent to break in…’ ‘Oh my God…’ Kian mumbled, and they both got up, running to the kitchen. ‘What’s happening?’ Polaris asked, as they entered the place. ‘There are men out there, about to break in!’ Dark Rose said. ‘We must take the kids out safely!’ ‘Well, I guess I have the most exciting baby-sitting job in the whole world…’ Logan said. ‘Kian stays here with me, and someone please, call Mark!’ ‘I’ll do it!’ Shane said. ‘Please, be careful!’ Dark Rose said, kissing Kian. ‘I will!’ He smiled, and they noticed everyone was looking at them. ‘Okay, I don’t think we have time now!’ Dark Rose said, and ran upstairs, with the others. ‘So, do you think you can fight, kid?’ Logan asked, looking at Kian, sarcastic, as his claws came off. ‘I guess you’ll find out now, right?’ Kian smiled a bit. Meanwhile, Dark Rose, Polaris, Rogue, Nicky and Shane were waking everybody up, leading them downstairs. ‘Come on, people! Everyone must go to the exit, downstairs, as we’ve trained before!’ Polaris said, loud, while the kids ran thought the hallway, in the stairs direction. ‘What’s happening?’ Mark asked Nicky, when he and Kitty met the blonde guy. ‘The mansion is being invaded!’ Nicky explained. ‘Kian and Logan are downstairs, waiting for you, Mark...’ ‘Ok, I’ll meet them!’ Mark said, running in the opposite direction. ‘Come on, people! Faster!’ Rogue screamed, and as soon as that floor seemed desert, Shane looked at her. ‘I’ll see if anyone was left behind! I’ll meet you downstairs!’ He said. ‘Okay, we’re waiting for you!’ Polaris told him, seeming very worried about leaving him, but no one had a choice, now. Shane walked through the rooms, checking if there was anyone left. Suddenly, he heard some talking, and opened a room’s door, seeing Pete and a little kid with him. ‘Ok, I’m starting to lose my patience with you!’ Pete said, looking pretty mad ‘I already told you! We must go out!’ ‘But nothing is happening!’ The boy said. ‘I want to stay here and watch some TV!’ Shane opened his mouth to talk, but looking outside the room’s window, he could see a man with a gun, about to shot the boy. Looking serious to that man, the gun left his hand, flying farther away from him. ‘OK, boy, we must go right now!’ Shane said, taking the kid in his arms, although he was complaining all the way downstairs. Pete followed them, looking angry. ‘I was taking care of this, okay? You shouldn’t have done this!’ He said, and Shane looked at him, serious. ‘He was almost shot, so you better shut up!’ ‘What did you just say?’ Pete asked, and coming from nowhere, Rogue approached them. ‘What are you guys doing? Logan, Kian and Mark are fighting, and most of the kids are out of here, but we’re still in danger! It’s not time to argue! Specially you, Pete!’ She pointed at him. ‘No comments…’ Shane sighed, going to the exit, with them. On the room, Logan, Kian and Mark were still trying to keep those men distracted, to assure everyone would be safe. Suddenly, an ice wall appeared between the three man and the invaders, and they looked around, seeing that Bobby had made it. Kian and Mark ran to the exit, but Logan stayed a bit more, because a man on the other side of the ice wall was talking like he knew him. Bobby had to practically drag Logan to the exit door, making it close as soon as they passed. Everyone met outdoors, and Logan looked at them. ‘Are you all okay?’ He asked. ‘I guess we are…’ Rogue sighed, with a couple of little kids holding her waist. ‘What do we do now, Logan?’ Polaris asked, looking at him, and he sighed. ‘I’m not sure yet…’ He said, in low voice.

Ch 3 By: Kerrie
'We're in Boston now. Here's the building where the Professor said he was.' Jean said projecting a map with her mind. 'Let's land on the top of that building. It's abandoned.' Spaz said looking around the city that she used to call home. 'Spaz, is this area safe?' Jean asked a little bit nervous. 'It's run down but it's not the combat zone.' Kerrie said walking down the stairs after the jet landed. She grabbed Jean and Storm's arms and teleported them into the church. 'This place is a dump!' Spaz said a little too loudly as a man teleported into the rafters. 'He's just like you Spaz.' Storm said nodding. Spaz teleported herself next to him. 'How yea doing?' 'Ahh... who are you?' He asked in a thick accent. 'I'm Kerrie Hingston but you can call me Spaz. Are you gonna come down on your own or do I need to use some force?' She asked cracking a smile. 'On my own. I didn't mean to hurt people.' He said meekly. 'What's your name?' Jean asked. 'My name is Kurt Wagner but in the Munich Circus they call me-' 'That's enough, I heard this before. You had my father represent you in court a few years ago.' 'Rich Hingston's daughter? He is a good man, he helped me.' 'Why did you try to kill the President?' Spaz asked. 'I-I don't remember. I man came here-' 'Was it Magneto?' Storm asked. 'No, not that man.' 'Can I read your thoughts?' Jean asked. Kurt nodded. She looked into his mind. 'He's right not Magneto. The place he took you looks familiar. Let's get back to the mansion and the Professor will know better than I.' They all got back to the jet. 'I can't get a hold of Scott or the Professor.' Jean said nervously. 'Something is happening at the mansion.' Spaz said grabbing her head. 'What- what's happening?' Storm asked. 'Some men got into the house and tried to take the kids. Everyone is ok but a few of them were taken.' 'Can you link up with someone or teleport in there?' Spaz nodded. She appeared in the mansion to see men running towards her. She teleported into the other floors and found no on there. Spaz teleported back into the jet. 'They are gone. Only the men are left. They are dressed in military gear.' 'Oh God!' Jean said as she started pacing. 'Try Scott again or see if any of the cars are activated.' Storm said as she tried a few numbers. 'There are four active. It's one of Scott's cars and three others.' 'Dial in.' Storm said as Kurt stood there nervously. 'Don't worry, we're not gonna hurt you.' Spaz said sitting down. 'Hello?' Came a nervous voice. 'Rogue, it's Storm. Where are you?' 'Logan's driving us towards Boston. Kitty and Bobby are driving the other cars.' 'Ok, do you remember how to get to my family's house?' Spaz asked. 'Yea.' 'Good, go there. We'll be waiting for you guys.' Spaz said as Storm and Jean looked questionably at her. 'It's ok. Let's go there and my dad can get in contact with Hank.'

Ch 4 By: Raquel
The group were still driving to Spaz’s house, and there were only a few minutes left to arrive. ‘So, how do you think it’s gonna be, to meet your father and mother in law, Logan?’ Rogue smiled, looking at him. ‘OK…’ He answered. ‘Really?’ Polaris asked, from the back seat, where she was sitting with Shane. ‘I mean, they probably will ask things about marriage or something…’ ‘Don’t be ridiculous, Polaris!’ Rogue said. ‘They are obviously waiting with the priest and everything!’ ‘Stop it!’ Logan said, a bit nervous. ‘That’s not funny!’ ‘I’m sorry, but I think it is…’ Shane smiled, and he and the girls laughed. In the other car, were Mark, Kitty, Dark Rose, Kian and Nicky. ‘Don’t you think that is a little too tight in here?’ Nicky asked, looking at Dark Rose and Kian, who were on the back seat, with him. ‘Well, it wouldn’t be, if you were in another car!’ Kian answered. ‘Let me think…’ Nicky looked up, thoughtful. ‘Spend some hours with that prehistorical and savage man, or with those two kids… I guess I’m better here!’ ‘Then stop complaining!’ Kian said. ‘I’m not complaining!’ Nicky looked at him, and Dark Rose laughed a bit. ‘Hey, maybe you should shut up!’ Mark looked at them. ‘The girls will think we keep arguing all the time!’ ‘I’m sorry, don’t we?’ Kian asked. ‘That’s OK…’ Kitty said, paying attention to the road ‘Me and the girls argue sometimes too!’ ‘That’s true!’ Dark Rose agreed. ‘Really?’ Nicky looked at her ‘What do you argue about?’ ‘Well… Clothes, make up…’ Dark Rose said. ‘Yes, it’s almost the same thing…’ Mark smiled a bit. In the third car, Pete and Bobby were having a ‘fun’ conversation. ‘So, did everything go well in Russia?’ Bobby asked. ‘Yes.’ Pete said, looking outside the window. ‘Man, we didn’t say almost anything in this whole trip, and I’m trying to make things a bit better!’ Bobby said, a bit angry. ‘We are almost there, and…’ ‘And we can stop talking, right?’ Pete looked at him, serious. ‘I don’t know what happened to you. You used to be a little more pleasant.’ ‘I’m not, anymore.’ Pete said ‘Everyone in that mansion hates me…’ ‘That’s not true!’ Bobby looked at him. ‘Why do you think that?’ ‘What do you think?’ Pete asked. ‘After Spaz and I broke up, it’s been this way… That’s one of the reasons why I spent so much time there. I think I should go back, you know?’ ‘Well, if you want to…’ Bobby sighed. ‘There! See? Nobody cares!’ Pete said, angry. ‘How old are you? Four? Who will want to spend time with someone so ill humored?’ Bobby asked, and they both stayed in silence. After some minutes, they finally arrived at Spaz’s house, where her, her parents, Storm and Jean were waiting. Nobody was really sure about what happened in the mansion, so they entered the house, to talk. And it would be a very long talk…

Ch 5 By: Kerrie
The Professor and Scott had been visiting Magneto in his plastic prison when Magneto broke out. While this was happening Scott was attacked by a women who seemed to be as strong as Logan. She and a few military personal took Scott and the Professor to a base on the border of Canada and the United States. Meanwhile back at the Hingston's house.... 'Here they are.' Storm said from the window. Rich was on the phone with Hank who was trying to find out who invaded the mansion. He knew it was William Stryker but his secret base's location was unknown. Hank had made all of this know to the president who had some men try to find the base. 'Who are these people?' Kurt asked a bit afraid as everyone came through the door. Celeste introduced Kurt to everyone while Jean paced still wondering where Scott and the Professor were. 'Jean, Hank just told me that Magneto has escaped from prison. The Professor and Scott are gone.' Rich said coming into the room. 'Where's Spaz?' Rogue asked. 'In the kitchen. She wanted to make some food thinking that you'd all be hungry.' The girls headed into the large kitchen to see a large amount of food on the table. 'Are you guys ok?' Spaz asked concerned. 'Yea, we're good. We took the kids to the safe house.' Dark Rose said. 'Logan thinks your mad at him and is terrified that your parents are gonna ask him a million questions.' Polaris said picking up a roll to munch on. 'He did insult me before I left. Who is he to say that I wasn't ready to go on a mission?' She said sitting at the table and picking up a brownie. 'Are we interrupting?' Bobby asked coming into the room. 'No, go ahead and grab some food.' Spaz said grabbing some cans of soda out of the fridge. 'Your such a good cook. This is why guys are lined up to date you.' Bobby said munching on a cookie. Rogue shot him a look. 'Anyway... your mom is giving Logan a good talking to.' Bobby said laughing. 'About what?' Dark Rose asked laughing. 'Asking him about his intentions. I don't know how everyone else is keeping a straight face. That's why I needed to come out here.' 'Oh great.' Spaz walked into the other room. 'So Logan... what are your plans?' Celeste asked to a very nervous looking Logan. 'There's food in the kitchen if your all hungry.' Everyone took off for the kitchen except Rich and Celeste who took the hint and went into the other room anyway. 'I'm assuming things went well.' Logan said looking at the ground. 'Just fine. My father represented Kurt a year or two ago.' 'That's good. Things in the mansion went well, everyone did a good job. Most of the kids are safe.' A silence fell between them. 'I'm sorry about what I said about you not being ready. Your very much ready to join the group but I was just worried.' In the doorway everyone was gathered watching what was happening. 'What's happening? I can't see.' Bobby said trying to jump up to see. 'Bobby, shut it.' Kitty said. 'You don't need to worry. I can handle myself yea know.' Spaz said. 'Spaz, I-I love you.' He blurted out as a chorus of Awws came from the door. They both turned around turning a bright shade of red. 'Hank, just called with the location of the base.' Rich said handing Storm a paper with he location written on it. 'Eat up then we're going.' Storm said.

Ch 6 By: Raquel
The whole group decided to look for the base where the Professor and Cyclops were. They entered the jet, and started to fly to the place, but during the way, some problems happened with the plane, and it started to fall down. Storm and Jean tried everything they could not to let the plane crash, but it seemed they couldn’t stop it. But, much to everybody’s surprise, when the jet was about to reach the ground, it stopped in the air. They all went to the window, to see what was happening, and they saw Magneto and Mystique. After that, the plane had to get fixed, so they had no option but to spend night in the forest. Some tents were armed, but the group was a bit separated. ‘So, the X-Men saved by Magneto… Ironic, don’t you think?’ Kian asked, while he tried to fix the plane, with Nicky, Dark Rose and Rogue. ‘I think so …’ Dark Rose sighed, as some plants moved in front of her, like they were arms, doing some repairs in the jet. ‘But it’s better then him letting us die, right?’ Nicky asked, taking some tools that Rogue gave him. ‘Yes, but I don’t know exactly what we are gonna do with him in the team, now… I just don’t trust him…’ Rogue said. ‘I think no one does… What about Polaris?’ Kian looked at Dark Rose. ‘She’s still in her tent, talking with Spaz and Kitty…’ She answered. Meanwhile, close to the fireplace, Storm, Jean, Logan and Magneto talked about how they could enter in the base. Mystique was just sat nearby, listening to the conversation in silence. ‘So, what do you think?’ Storm asked. ‘Well, we all know it’s not going to be easy… But it’s not impossible…’ Jean sighed, looking at the paper that Hank gave Storm, and that was on the floor, in front of them. ‘Apparently, we’ll have to deceive them somehow…’ Logan mumbled. ‘Maybe we could send Mark, disguised…’ Storm said, looking at them. ‘Maybe…’ Jean said, uncertain. ‘But do you think he’s ready for something like this?’ Logan asked. ‘Well, the Professor thinks he is… I think we should trust him.’ Storm said. ‘Mystique could do it.’ Magneto said, and the three looked at him. He laughed a bit and asked: ‘What? Don’t you trust me yet?’ ‘Actually, I don’t think I ever will.’ Logan answered, directly. ‘Well, maybe you should…’ Magneto smiled a bit, and continued. ‘I mean, you don’t have many options now, do you?’ ‘Yes, we have! We have Mark!’ Logan said, serious. ‘That kid? Oh, that’s nice! I can assure Xavier is safe now!’ Magneto looked at him, ironic, and Logan almost attacked him, but was contained by Storm. ‘Logan, please!’ Jean asked, and he sat back in his place, looking angry. ‘Don’t you think that if I wanted to kill you it would be easier for me just to let the plane crash? Please, Logan, be a little smarter, son…’ Magneto smiled. ‘I don’t have to stay here, okay? I’m going!’ Logan stood up, going to his tent. ‘Look at him… Always following his instincts…’ Magneto laughed, and Mystique smiled a bit. On the other side, Mark, Shane, Pete and Bobby were talking: ‘Won’t you go there, to stay with Polaris?’ Mark asked Shane. ‘I wanted to, but Spaz said it would be better if I just stayed here… She said if there are too much people in there, it won’t help…’ Shane sighed, crossing his arms. ‘She’s right, you know?’ Pete asked, and Shane looked at him, serious. ‘Yeah, man, you seem really worried…’ Bobby smiled a bit. ‘I can’t control myself, you know? I’m worried! I mean, I know she’s Magneto’s daughter, but she must have some problems and… I just want to hold her…’ Shane said. ‘You will…’ Mark looked at him. ‘Yeah, man, just be a little more patient…’ Bobby agreed. Inside Polaris tent, Spaz and Kitty were talking to her, trying to make her feel a little better. ‘I know it must be very strange to you, Polaris, but he’s still your father… Don’t you think you should talk to him?’ Kitty asked. ‘I don’t want to! At least, not right now…’ Polaris sighed, looking down to her hands. ‘I understand, darling… But you can’t hide forever, and you know it…’ Spaz caressed her hair. ‘He’s going with us now, Polaris…You should try to let these feelings go, you know? You’re in different sides, but I’m sure he loves you…’ Kitty said. ‘Of course he does…’ Polaris smiled, ironic. ‘Please?’ Spaz looked in her eyes. ‘Maybe tomorrow… Now, I really don’t feel I’m ready for it…’ Polaris said. ‘That’s OK! We’ll stay here with you, right?’ Spaz smiled. Logan was in his tent, trying to calm himself. Breathing deeply, he laid down on the mattress, closing his eyes. He stayed in silence for some minutes, and them he closed his eyes. Some minutes later, he heard someone coming in the tent, and saw it was Spaz. ‘Hi, Spaz…’ He smiled a bit, and before he could say anything, she kissed him. He was a bit surprised, but kissed her back, caressing her back. ‘Are you all right?’ He asked, looking at her, when the kiss stopped. ‘I’m fine, my love… I just want to make love to you, right now…’ She whispered. ‘Do you?’ Logan looked at her, uncertain. ‘Of course…’ She said, kissing his neck. ‘There’s a lot of people here, Spaz…’ He mumbled, closing his eyes. ‘I don’t care about them…’ She whispered, and he looked at her, confused. Seeing a yellow glow in her eyes, he sat. ‘Mystique?’ He asked, surprised. ‘No, I’m Spaz now…’ She said, smiling a bit, and continued. ‘But I can be anyone you want me to be…’ and then she transformed into Jean, then Rogue, then Dark Rose, Kitty and Polaris, before to ask. ‘Which one do you want, Logan?’ ‘I want you out of here!’ He said, angry. ‘Do you really want that?’ She asked. ‘Get out of here!!’ He said, louder, and she left the tent, while he sighed, talking to himself: ‘What the hell just happened? I almost…’ Well, it was better not to think about it… And specially don’t say anything to Spaz.

After an hour of being in the tent talking to Polaris, Spaz and Kitty came out. Kitty went to go find Mark as Spaz went to go talk to Shane. 'How's she doing?' 'Better then expected. She wanted to see you but no staying in there too late cause all the girls are crashing in there.' Spaz said smirking. Shane made his way over to the tent as Spaz started walking to the other side of camp when Nicky stopped her. 'How's Polaris?' 'She's doing ok, I'm on my way to talk to her father.' 'Do you want company?' 'Yea, that would be nice. You may need to stop me if I go to far.' Spaz said laughing. They walked over to Magneto's tent and Spaz walked right in. 'If it isn’t little Miss Hingston. Your bold just like your mother.' 'I'm not here to talk about my family, I'm here to talk about yours.' Spaz said putting her hands on her hips. 'And who are you?' 'Nicky Byrne.' 'Ah… one of Jono's students.' 'You should talk to your daughter.' 'She refused to join the Brotherhood, she made her choice.' 'She was 7 years old when you made her choose. How can you cast one of your children away like that?' Spaz almost yelled. 'She doesn't have the guts to do what needs to be done. Her siblings on the other hand, know that it's us verse those homo-sapiens.' 'Oh your twins? Scarlet Witch is just as deranged as you and Quicksilver will do anything you say.' 'That's the way I like my family.' Mystique came into the tent shooting an icy glare at Spaz. 'Trying to seduce Logan again? He doesn't go for your kind.' Spaz spat reading Mystique's mind. 'Logan is his slave name, Wolverine is who he really is. You just wait soon enough he's gonna get board with you.' Spaz made her hand into a fist as Nicky led her out of the tent. 'Thanks.' She said shaking her head. 'You were really gonna take the two of them on weren't you?' Nicky asked laughing. 'I would have loved to.' 'What happened with Mystique?' 'She was in Logan's tent. I knew she was there when we walked by. He gave her that nice scar on her stomach at Liberty Island that's how he knew and her eyes.' 'No offense but what do you see in him?' Nicky asked as they sat by the fire. 'He's different then most guys, he goes with what he feels without thinking twice.' Bobby and Rogue came over laughing as they put down a radio. 'What's so funny?' Nicky asked. 'It's 80s night.' Bobby said as they sat down next to them. 'I happen to like 80s music.' Rogue said crossing her arms. '80s music is good to dance to.' Spaz said as she jumped up as ACDC's “You Shook Me All Night Long" came on. Rogue joined her as they danced around. After about an hour of dancing Storm broke it up and everyone was forced into their tents.

The next day, the discussion about who would go into the base was still going on... And it didn't seem to be over so soon. 'I'm telling you, Mark is ready!' Logan almost yelled. 'Oh, please...' Magneto smiled, ironic, looking at Mark, standing next to Logan. 'This kid didn't even know how to talk, when Mystique was already one of the most competent mutants I have known.' 'Maybe, but I don't trust that so called woman.' Logan said, 'Neither you.' 'And who said I trust you, Wolverine? Come on... You're trying to push this poor kid to death just to see your requests attended.' Magneto replied. 'Can you both stop, please?' Storm asked, looking angry to both of them. 'There are lives in danger here, and you're dealing with it like two babies!' 'But he's...' Logan started. 'Please, don't!' Storm looked at him. 'OK, I make the decision now, and I say Mystique is going to enter disguised as Logan.' She said. 'Are you crazy??' Logan asked, looking at her, while Magneto and Mystique smiled. 'As good as you think Mark is, it's still too risky...' Storm said to Logan. 'So you're gonna send the frogwoman to save us? What makes you think she won't betray us?' He asked. 'I don't think anything, except that this is the better choice. Any more questions?' She raised an eyebrow. 'Go to hell, all of you...' Logan mumbled, getting out of there. 'So, who's going?' Nicky asked Mark, in low voice. 'Mystique.' Was the answer. 'Really? Well, good for you! I was a bit worried, I must confess...' Nicky said. ‘To be honest, so was I...' Mark mumbled. The girls were putting everything in the plane, so they can leave, when they saw Logan very angry, walking away. 'Do you think it's better talk to him?' Rogue mumbled, and Spaz sighed. 'Not right now, he seems too angry... It's better to give him a moment...' She said. 'OK, that's your call...' Kitty agreed. Some time later, they were flying to the base. It was isolated and covered with snow, near a lake. Everybody was quiet, some of them looking outside the window. Raquel looked at Kian, and hold his hand, making him look at her. 'I'll protect you, okay?' She said, with a soft smile. He laughed a bit. 'I think this was supposed to be my line...' He whispered. 'It's not anymore...' She smiled, and sighed 'Do you promise me you won't get hurt? 'I promise...' He said to her. 'OK, people! We're going to land!' Storm announced, while the plane started to lose altitude. Soon they were in the ground, and people started to get out. 'Okay, so Mystique is going in...' Magneto said, and Mystique almost immediately turned into Logan. 'I didn't expect to find her attractive one day...' Spaz whispered to Polaris, then laughed a bit. 'Look, if you do anything to break the deal, I will...' Logan started. 'Just relax, Logan.' Mystique said, sounding in his own voice. 'You know I won't do anything to hurt you...' She smiled, before started walking to the base. 'Okay, why didn't you kill her yet?' Raquel asked Spaz. The girls just smiled at her, trying not to laugh. Well, there was something to think about...

Ch 9 By: Kerrie
‘Bobby, Polaris, and Rogue I want you to stay here and watch the jet.’ ‘No way, you need us.’ Rogue said. ‘I need you three to watch the jet. Rogue and Polaris, your powers are not controlled enough and I need someone level headed to watch them. That’s why Bobby is staying.’ Storm said ushering everyone else towards the tunnel. ‘This stinks!’ Polaris said going back into the jet as Rogue stormed after her. ‘Great, leave me with two girls in a pissy mood.’ Bobby mumbled following them. ‘I feel bad.’ Kitty said walking next to Spaz. ‘Yea me too but it’s for the best. Storm knows what she’s doing.’ Spaz looked at Logan who was deep in thought as Jean went over a list of who was going where. ‘Logan?’ ‘Yea sorry.’ He mumbled coming back to reality. ‘Jean, there’s no sense in telling him where to go. He’s going to do his own thing anyway.’ Spaz joked as Logan just gave her a cold look. ‘I’m not the only one who likes to break rules.’ He said crossing his arms. ‘I suggest you take out all your frustrations on Stryker and not on me.’ Kerrie said walking past him and into the base as the doors opened. Spaz, Logan, Storm, Pete and Magneto took out all of the guards that came rushing to the door. Everyone split up into their groups. Storm, Kurt, Pete, Shane, and Nicky were going to find the captured kids. Mystique, Magneto, and Jean were going to go find the Professor and Scott. Spaz, Kian, Dark Rose, Kitty, and Mark were going to find out any information and keep an eye out for any situations. ‘Where’s Logan?’ Storm asked. ‘Hey I told yea he was going to do his own thing. I bet he went to go find Stryker.’ ‘Let’s not worry about him. He can take care of himself.’ Magneto said as everyone went their own ways. Spaz walked into the main computer room and went to work looking up all the mutant profiles that he had. She quickly uploaded them into several disks before she saw something wrong on the computer. ‘Shit, Mystique is in Cerebro with the Professor!’ Spaz handed the disks to Kitty. ‘One of you find Storm. I’m gonna go stop them. The rest of you stay here.’ Spaz ran down the hallway until she ran into Magneto. ‘It’s too late. Charles, is going to kill all of those homeosapians and you can’t do nothing about it.’ Spaz clenched her fists and threw a hard punch sending him into the wall. ‘Damn that felt good.’ She said turning to face Mystique who just changed back into her own form from that of Stryker. ‘If it isn’t Charles favorite student. Do you really think that you are meant to be with Logan? He needs someone like himself.’ ‘Oh is that you?’ ‘It might be. Unlike you I make up my own mind and do what I want to. All you’ll ever be is one of the Professor’s little puppets, doing everything he wants.’ Spaz’s eyes narrowed as Mystique came at her. Kitty and Mark came running down the hallway to help out. Spaz pushed up her palm under Mystique’s nose breaking it as she fell to the ground in pain. ‘Maybe I’m not so clean cut.’ Spaz said shrugging as she teleported herself inside of Cerebro. ‘That was awesome. Spaz is kicking but.’ Kitty said as Jean and Scott came around the other corner. After a few minutes Spaz broke down Stryker’s son and opened the door as she carried out Professor Xavier who was still groggy. ‘Spaz, are you ok?’ Jean asked. ‘I’m fine. Let’s get out of here.’ They started for the doors to see that the flood gate was open. ‘Kurt, help me teleport everyone to the jet?’ Spaz asked as Kurt nodded. After a few minutes everyone was in the jet except Logan. ‘Where is he? We need to go?’ Storm said. ‘I’ll find him.’ Spaz teleported herself back into the base to see him fighting Stryker. ‘Logan, we need to go.’ Spaz said grabbing his arm. ‘No, I need to take care of him.’ ‘Do it. Kill me.’ Stryker gritted. Spaz didn’t wait for a response but grabbed Logan and teleported themselves back into the jet that was already in the air. ‘Spaz, Jean’s giving us power. Kurt can’t get her.’ Spaz nodded and after several minutes of trying she managed to get an unconscious Jean back into the jet. ‘Professor, she’s not herself.’ Spaz said giving him a knowing look.

Jean was still unconscious, some days after the mission was finished, and everyone in the mansion was a bit worried about her. But knowing the Professor was taking care of her made things a little better. After all, he was the wiser person there. So, the others were trying to relax for a few days... Who'd know when the next problem would appear? Polaris was on the kitchen, alone, lost in her thoughts, holding one cup of coffee that was almost cold. Shane entered the kitchen, and seeing her, he sighed, trying to don't get too nervous. 'Hi, Polaris...' He said, and she raised her eyes, to look at him. 'Hello, Shane...' She answered, and drinking a bit of the coffee, made a grimace. 'What were you thinking about?' He asked, sitting beside her. 'You have no idea?' She looked at him, and he sighed. 'About your father, I imagine...' 'Yes, that's right...' She looked down. 'It's strange to see your own father to do such things, and act like you didn't exist, you know? I mean, he's my father, I love him... I just... Think that he acts wrong...' 'I understand...' Shane reached her hand, caressing it 'It must be really difficult for you, but I know things will be OK someday...' 'Thank you for your kindness, but I don't think so...' She sighed. 'He's as must obstinated as I am... How I hate genetics...' 'You aren't like him, Polaris... And I admire you very much for it...' Shane smiled a bit, and she looked him in the eyes. They stood in silence for some instants, and before they realize it, they were kissing softly. On the other side of the mansion, there was another couple. 'So your mother doesn't know you're a mutant?' Kitty asked, sitting between Mark's legs, with her back resting against his chest. 'No, she doesn't...' Mark answered, interlacing his fingers with hers. 'Well, I'm sorry for that, Mark...' She said, in a low voice. 'But I'm sure she would understand, if you told her, someday...' 'I hope she would...' He sighed, and kissed her cheek. 'You know, I'm very glad we're together, now... I mean, I never had a girlfriend since I discovered about my mutation...' She looked at him, surprised. 'Really? But you're so attractive...' She said, and he laughed. 'If you say so...' He smiled, looking at her. Inside one bedroom of the mansion: 'Good morning...' A male voice sounded, and a pair of green eyes opened up. 'Good morning...' Dark Rose almost whispered, with a soft smile on her lips. 'You look beautiful when you are sleeping, did you know that?' Kian asked, and she laughed a bit, shrinking against his body, with her cheeks a bit red. 'You need glasses, baby...' She smiled, hugging him. 'No, I don't! My sight is perfect!' He said, and she looked at him, touching his face. 'Actually, you are perfect...' She whispered, and he smiled at her. 'Do you think so?' 'Yes, I do...' She kissed him, softly. 'Well, then I'll have to prove to you why!' He smiled, covering both with the sheet, while she laughed. Meanwhile, Spaz was walking throughout the mansion, when she saw Logan on the balcony, seeming thoughtful. Smiling, she approached him, hugging him from behind and kissing his back. 'Hi, you...' She whispered, and he smiled, placing his hands over hers, turning his head and looking at her. 'Hello...' He said, kissing her lips, softly. 'What are you doing outside, hum?' She asked, and he sighed. 'I was just thinking about everything... That man that knew so much about me... The whole thing we've been through... And now Jean...' He explained. 'I don't know, it's strange to have so much happening, and almost nothing you can do about it...' Spaz smiled. 'Since when did you started to care about the others, Mr. Logan?' 'To be honest? Since I met you...' He whispered, and she smiled more, while he turned to her. 'I love you...' She said, in a low voice, and he smiled, pulling her closer to him. 'I love you too...' He replied, kissing her. Not very far from there, Nicky looked down, feeling his heart in pain. He'd never fallen in love before... Why should it be with the wrong girl?...

Ch 11 By: Kerrie
Logan and Scott stood outside the med-lab. They both again had been asked to leave to the Professor and Spaz could work on Jean. The Professor knew what Jean was capable of when and if “The Phoenix” her duel personality was released. When she came to the school he put up blocks in her mind to protect her but when she used her powers to start the jet it seemed “The Phoenix” was released. Spaz had heard about Jean’s powers from her parents and from a young age Charles began working with her. Spaz was trained to be Charles back-up in the event that “The Phoenix” started using her powers. The Professor had Spaz watch the video of him putting up the blocks in Jean’s mind and was training her to do so. She was working with him several hours a day restoring those blocks. ‘What the hell are they doing to her?’ Logan growled pacing back and forth. None of the student knew what was going on, only those in the med-lab knew as well as Hank who was at the school when they got back. ‘Logan, it’s not necessary for you to be here. The Professor knows what he’s doing, something is obviously wrong with Jean. She has never showed that kind of power before.’ Scott said looking at a magazine. Hank came walking down the hallway with Celeste and Rich. ‘Where’s Spaz?’ Hank asked. ‘She’s in the lab working with Charles.’ Scott said not looking up. ‘We have exciting news for her. I’ve just found out the Democratic Party has nominated me as their candidate for Governor.’ ‘That’s great, you’ll be the first mutant Governor. Congratulations.’ Scott said as the doors opened and Spaz and Charles came out. Spaz talked to her parents for a few minutes before she went to find Logan. ‘What’s wrong with you? Since I started working with the Professor in the lab you’ve been avoiding me.’ Kerrie said. ‘I want to know what’s happening with Jean.’ ‘Logan, it’s complicated. We’re trying to help her.’ ‘Help her! Your brainwashing her.’ ‘How dare you talk to me this way! You don’t even know the whole story so don’t you dare try to judge me!’ Kerrie turned on her heel and walked down the hallway to her room slamming the door. Rogue looked out of her room when she heard the loud bang. ‘Kitty, something’s wrong.’ Rogue said to her friend that was sitting at the computer. Dark Rose and Polaris knocked on Rogue’s door two minutes later. ‘Big fight, Logan and Spaz were screaming at each other about Jean.’ Polaris said sitting on the edge of the bed. ‘Should we go talk to her?’ Rogue asked. ‘She just left her room to go to the gym.’ Dark Rose said as Polaris nodded. ‘Let’s give her a few minutes.’ Kitty suggested. After about 15 minutes Bobby came walking into the room. ‘What’s up with Spaz? She’s beating the crap out of the punching bag.’ ‘Her and Logan got into a fight about Jean.’ Rogue said looking through the folders she had helped Kerrie make. ‘Here, this is the information that the government has about your mutation.’ Rogue said handing him the folder. ‘Does everyone have one?’ ‘Not everyone but most of us.’ ‘What does Logan’s say?’ Bobby asked trying to grab the folder that was on the top. ‘Spaz doesn’t want us to look at each other’s folders unless someone freely gives their folder to another person.’ ‘But look at his. It’s like 10 times everyone else’s.’ ‘Bobby, can you go now? We’re gonna go talk to Spaz and pass out the folders.’ Kitty said as the girls started towards the gym. On the way Rogue stopped to give Logan his folder. ‘Logan, I know you don’t want to talk right now but there is something I want to give you to look over. Spaz found it at the base and wanted you to have it.’ Logan opened the door with his arms crossed. ‘She put all the files of everyone in the house on disks and printed them out. This is all the information the government has on you.’ ‘Thanks.’ He took the folder and shut the door in her face. Rogue let out a sigh and went to go catch up with the girls.

How much information do you think the government have? A lot more than you may imagine, that's for sure. Even so, everyone in the mansion ended up getting a little surprise, after Spaz delivered each one their respective folders. 'They know everything about my family...' Mark said, in a low voice, looking really surprised. 'My father's death, my mom... Everything!' 'I know it's scary...' Kitty said to him. 'And I'm very sorry...' 'There was a lot of things about you, in your folder, but this is really concerning...' Mark looked at her. 'I mean, what can stop them, if they wanted to hurt my mom, or something?' 'They won't hurt your mom, Mark...' She said, and he sighed. 'I don't know...' He mumbled. 'I need to think a bit...' He said, getting up and walking away, as Kitty sighed, looking to her own folder in her hands. Well, there was much more than she would think of... But she didn't want Mark to get worried about her too. 'It's hard to believe, isn't it?' Shane looked to Polaris, as they were sitting on the stairs of the mansion. 'It's like they've been watching us all the time...' 'I know...' She mumbled. 'They know everything about my relationship with my father...' 'I'm sorry, darling...' He caressed her hair, softly. 'It's disturbing to know that people with so much power know so much about us, but I'm trying to believe that isn't only because we're mutants... I think they must have folders like these about everyone...' 'Maybe... But we're considered much more dangerous for them than ordinary people...' ‘Well, I guess you're right...' Shane sighed. 'But everything is gonna be fine...' He kissed her forehead. In Dark Rose's bedroom, she and Kian were talking about the folders, too. 'They know everything, Kian...' She said, looking at him. 'I mean, really everything...' 'Yes, I know...' Kian answered, looking at some papers in her folder. 'I know it's concerning, but...' He stopped. 'Were you married?' She smiled a bit and denied, with her head. 'No, but I was engaged.' She took the paper out of his hand, gently, reading it. 'Really?' He asked, a bit serious. 'To whom?' 'A guy from the lab I worked for, before I turned into a mutant...' She said. 'After that, I started to be abnormal, so...' 'Ahh...' Kian mumbled, and made a long pause. 'Was he better than me?' He asked, and she raised her head, to look at him. 'Are you jealous?' She asked. ‘Of course I'm not!' He assured 'I just want to know...' 'Of course he wasn't!' She laughed a bit. 'You're the best man in the entire world!' She said, hugging and covering him with kisses. Nicky was sitting on one sofa, on the mansion's living room, taking a look at his folder, when Spaz appeared. 'Hi...' He said, with a soft smile. 'Hi...' She answered, sitting next to him .'Have you finished it?' 'Almost...' He looked at her. 'I feel like I'm being watched all the time...' 'I know, me too...' She agreed, and a bit of silence was heard between them. 'I've heard you and Logan had had a fight...' He said. 'It's true?' 'I'm afraid it is...' She sighed. 'But I think everything is gonna be okay soon...' 'Yes, maybe...' He mumbled, thinking with himself that, for most selfish that could sound, he didn't want things to be okay between those two...

Ch 13 By: Kerrie
The next morning Kerrie woke up with a smile on her face. The sun was shinning into her room and she hoped today things would finally be worked out with Logan but her smile faded when Rogue came rushing into her room with a frown. ‘Spaz, your not going to be to happy to hear this but Logan left this morning. He packed up all his stuff and took off on Scott's bike.’ ‘What? When did he leave?’ ‘Early, he left me this under my door.’ Kerrie got up and frantically looked at her floor but found no note. ‘What does it say?’ ‘Here, you can read it.’ Rogue said handing it to her. ‘Dear Marie, I’m taking off again. I have a lot of stuff to think about and I do my best thinking on the road. Tell everyone that I said bye and hopefully I’ll be back. ~ Logan.’ ‘He has got to be kidding.’ Kerrie said as Rogue gave her a hug. ‘I’m sorry. I can’t believe he didn’t leave you anything.’ Kerrie put her head down as tears started to fall from her eyes. ‘I was hoping the next time he left that I would be going with him.’ She sobbed. Kitty, Polaris, and Dark Rose came into the room a few minutes later. ‘Spaz, we’re so sorry.’ Kitty said sitting on the bed next to her. ‘I’m sure he’ll be back soon. He did say he loves you.’ ‘He did but I have a feeling that he still loves Jean more.’ Spaz said grabbing some tissues. ‘The Professor wants to see you.’ Dark Rose said as Spaz nodded. ‘Let me get cleaned up and I’ll be right down.’ The girls left her as Spaz got ready. ‘This stinks. I can’t believe he left.’ Rogue said looking at the letter he left. ‘And he didn’t even tell her.’ Polaris said shaking her head. Spaz went to the Professor’s office when she finished getting ready. ‘I have never seen her this upset before.’ Dark Rose said walking into the dining room. ‘I’ve never seen her cry, ever.’ Polaris said sitting at the table with the guys. ‘How’s Spaz?’ Nicky asked. ‘She’s a mess.’ Kitty said sitting next to Mark. ‘That is terrible, how can he just leave her like that?’ Nicky said banging his hand on the table. ‘Who knows how long he’ll be gone for, last time it was months.’ Rogue said shaking her head. A few minutes later Storm walked over to the table. ‘How’s Spaz?’ She asked Rogue. ‘Not to good.’ ‘I can’t believe him sometimes. Just when I thought he was finally opening up to someone he gets up and runs off again. Maybe she’s better off without him.’ She said shaking her head before going to check on some of the other students. In the Professor’s office.... ‘Spaz, I know your upset with Logan leaving but I would like for you to take on teaching all of Jean’s classes. That would include hand-to-hand combat, several danger room classes, and working with all of her specialties students.’ ‘You think that I’m ready to teach?’ ‘Of course I am. Spaz, you’ve grown up in the mansion and know all of the classes more then anyone. If you need any help Storm said that she’d be willing to do so. Here are the class lists as well as a schedule. I wrote in when we’d be working in the med-lab. I gave you off Wednesday’s to keep up with your college work.’ ‘Thank you so much. This is amazing.’ She said giving him a hug. ‘You better get some breakfast before your first class, it’s in 20 minutes.’ Spaz nodded and walked into the dining hall with a small smile on her face. ‘You guys will never guess what the Professor asked me to do.’ She said happily walking over to the table with a coffee and a muffin. ‘What?’ Rogue asked wondering what she was so happy about. ‘I’m going to start teaching all of Jean’s classes.’ ‘That’s great. Congrats.’ Rogue said giving her a hug. ‘I wouldn’t want you as my teacher, your a hard ass.’ Bobby said laughing. ‘Oh... look who’s name is on my class for hand-to-hand combat.’ Spaz said looking at the class for the next day. ‘No way.’ He said. ‘I better go get ready. See you guys later.’

The next day, everyone was present for Kerrie's class. She seemed a lot better than on the previous day, smiling and even laughing at some students. And that really made everyone fell a lot comfortable with the hole "Logan-left" situation. 'So, when does the class begins?' Mark asked, as they all stood in the danger room, waiting for the beginning. 'Any minute now...' Rogue said 'Spaz is making the last adjustments on the simulation!' 'Well, the important thing is that she looks much better now...' Polaris smiled, hugging Shane. 'Yes, you're right, sweetheart.' He answered, pulling her closer. 'I wish I could find Logan now...' Kitty said, angry 'And I'd give him my mortal attack...' 'Which is...?' Dark Rose asked, with a smile, knowing what would come next. 'Kick his shinbone and run away...' She mumbled, with her cheeks turning red, and everyone laughed. 'That's your mortal attack?' Kian asked, smiling. 'Well, it would be another one, but he's very tall!' She protested. 'You're so cute!' Mark laughed, kissing her cheek. 'Thank you...' She smiled a bit, still a bit embarrassed. 'What about you, man?' Kian asked Nicky, who was very quiet. 'What about me?' He asked, looking at him and Dark Rose, next to him. 'How are you with all this "Logan-left" thing?' Kian looked at him. 'Well, it seems to me that he doesn't care about Spaz, leaving this way...
